Rock of Solutré

A must for a family outing! At an altitude of 495 meters, the Roche de Solutré is in the heart of the Grand Site de France, including Solutré, Pouilly and Vergisson. A beautiful hike which, when you arrive at the top, will allow you to discover a magnificent 360° panorama with a view of the Beaujolais mountains to the south, the Saône plains to the east and the Lamartinian valley to the north.
On the way back, don’t miss to visit the Museum of the Prehistory which is located at the bottom of the rock and which will allow you to understand the archaeological value of the site
