Ponds and wash houses circuit<\/h3>\n\n

Anxious to preserve and enhance its heritage, the Commune of Simandre has created the “Discovery and Interpretation Trail of Ponds and Washhouses”. Six washhouses (Eschenaux, les Gouilles, le Molard, Letrey, les Bassoyons and le Tr\u00e9soir) have been completely renovated and eight ponds, selected for their appearance, fauna and flora, have been improved by pond greenhouses. This rehabilitation program is supported by the European Agricultural Fund for Rural Development (EAFRD).<\/p>\n\n

Circuit through the hamlets<\/h3>\n\n

The Greenways of Simandre are five walking routes (minimum 3.8 km, maximum 10 km) that cross the various places of Simandre, allowing hikers to admire the buildings and ancient heritage of the town. A total of 44 km of discovery, the fauna and flora are appreciated for their quietness and tranquility. Leaflets with the different walking routes are available at the town hall or on the website www.simandre.fr<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n
